Role Overview

We are seeking a Life & Pensions Manager to join our expanding Financial Services team in Cavan. The successful candidate will advise a diverse portfolio of SMEs on life assurance and pension matters, contribute to regional growth strategies, and collaborate with wider teams to enhance our service offering throughout Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialist guidance on life assurance, retirement planning, and pension products to clients within Cavan and neighboring regions.
  • Ensure all operations comply with Irish regulatory standards including the Central Bank of Ireland Consumer Protection Code.
  • Manage client portfolios effectively through regular reviews, renewals, and client retention initiatives.
  • Drive business development efforts to expand the Life & Pensions service on a regional scale.
  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with insurers, product providers, and pension administrators.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, legislative updates, and new product introductions, advising clients accordingly.
  • Address complex client issues and escalations adhering strictly to compliance policies.

Candidate Profile

  • QFA qualified or actively pursuing this qualification.
  • At least five years’ experience specializing in life assurance and pension products within the Irish financial market.
  • Comprehensive understanding of pension arrangements including PRSA and occupational schemes.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish financial regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Commercially savvy with an aptitude for understanding client needs and sector best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain client and internal relationships.
  • Proactive, decisive, and flexible, capable of adapting to evolving client demands and work environments.

Work Model and Compensation

This is an office-based role located in Cavan.

Competitive salary package offered.
