Job description
Overview
The Learning and Development Specialist at AMZL Trans collaborates closely with the Country L&D Manager, multiple operational managers, and team members such as Production Assistants, Delivery Service Provider Managers, Dispatchers, Drivers, and Sort Associates to administer and oversee all training activities at the site. The specialist plays an essential role in both delivering onsite training sessions and handling administrative tasks related to training. This includes maintaining compliance for operational training, keeping all training documentation current, and ensuring expectations are clearly documented and fulfilled daily. This role is based within the Learning Department and carries specific responsibilities related to that function.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver all training programs, managing sessions that can include up to 50 participants.
- Monitor team members' performance, tracking learning progress and quality, and implement action plans to enhance performance.
- Ensure all training programs follow established standards and introduce new tactical and strategic initiatives as required.
- Develop and design training materials utilizing software tools such as Articulate 360, Photoshop, and video editing software to create effective content.
- Implement targeted plans to address developmental gaps for individuals and groups.
- Collaborate with program managers and leadership to update training documentation, oversee process changes, and ensure these changes are adopted across the site.
- Design and maintain internal dashboards to report training progress and key performance indicators during daily and weekly leadership meetings.
Qualifications and Preferences
- Fluency in English, including spoken, written, and reading capabilities.
- Preferred candidates have experience managing multiple projects, demonstrating effective prioritization, planning, and time management skills.
- Training experience managing classrooms or developing and delivering training programs across different locations or regions is advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
