Role Overview and Responsibilities
As a Last Mile Support Officer, you will oversee various administrative and operational tasks essential to smooth rider and fleet management at the site level. Your duties encompass rider onboarding and offboarding, asset management, petty cash handling, coordination of leased vehicles, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Manage complete onboarding and offboarding procedures for riders, including collection and verification of essential documents such as identity proofs, contracts, and driving licenses.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments for efficient rider replacements and updates.
- Distribute, monitor, and recover delivery-related assets like devices, uniforms, fuel cards, and keys; maintain accurate asset records and report discrepancies to senior staff.
- Administer petty cash allocated for site-level rider necessities including fuel, emergency repairs, and other urgent requirements. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with cash management regulations.
- Assist in onboarding leased vehicles, maintain communication with drivers, and document vehicle usage, accidents, and transfers adhering to standard operating procedures.
- Keep riders informed on policy changes and compliance guidelines.
- Prepare and submit daily status reports covering the onboarding process, asset allocations, petty cash expenditures, and incident logs.
- Serve as the primary contact for rider administrative support during shifts; coordinate with Safety, Facility, and Profit & Loss teams to address escalations and support cross-functional activity.
- Provide backup coverage during officer absences or periods of high demand to maintain seamless operations.
- Strictly comply with all relevant policies and procedures to consistently maintain controlled and accurate workflows. Additionally, identify areas for process improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Promote and uphold a productive workplace culture aligned with the organization’s core values.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 2 years of experience in fleet administration, human resources support, or coordination roles within operations.
- Proven familiarity with onboarding procedures, documentation management, and petty cash utilization.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with strong documentation skills.
- Effective communication and coordination capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and basic reporting tools.
Education
Possession of a Higher Diploma in Logistics, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline.
