About the Role
Ferrero is seeking a Key Account Analyst to join our expanding team. This position involves gathering, analyzing, and generating sales and financial reports, offering in-depth insights to support strategic management and growth of the Sales division. The analyst will work with data from Ferrero Business Systems, Customer Business Systems, Nielsen, and other sources to support planning and decision-making.
The role includes administrative duties to assist the customer team and Director with deductions, tracking volume and budgets, plus other sales data management. The analyst will prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations highlighting trends and key findings. Collaborating with cross-functional teams ensures data accuracy and business alignment. The role also requires providing full support to the designated customer team and interfacing as needed with customers, trade marketing, sales, customer service, and management.

Main Responsibilities
Sales Analysis:
- Collect and report on sales metrics including shipments, POS sales, inventory, market performance, distribution through retail POS systems, Nielsen, and other data sources.
- Generate insights and recommendations to improve planogram (POG) placement and distribution.
- Monitor distribution changes and baseline forecasting trends.
- Conduct post-activity analyses recommending improvements to assortment, retail strategies, promotions, listings, and store-level merchandising.
- Assist in developing, maintaining, and reporting on account strategic plans.
- Review business continuously to identify improvements through error correction reports and suggest enhancements to sales and store execution across managed businesses.
- Perform P&L, opportunity, risk, and liability analyses.
- Provide analytical support for critical field team initiatives.
- Create data-driven tools via Ferrero Field Software and Business Systems.
Activity Planning and Inventory Control:
- Propose forecasts for commercial and assigned structural costs.
- Support the development of annual business plans and monthly forecast updates.
- Estimate forecasts for new products and adjust those for existing items.
- Maintain and update monthly customer scorecards.
- Recommend store-level orders for seasonal and event programs.
- Advise on maximizing inventory sales through adjusting store inventory or redeploying field resources.
- Maintain weekly store inventory reports and suggest stock adjustments to optimize sales and product freshness.
- Assist in seasonal forecasting and shipment tracking.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to reduce customer supply fines.
- Produce and deliver volume and performance reports.
- Enhance volume and trade reporting capabilities for indirect account groups.
- Lead analytics on strategic channel projects and business initiatives.
- Develop channel-specific sales tools for account and field teams.
- Support ongoing improvements in business planning processes.
Administration and Sales Support:
- Provide administrative assistance with deductions, volume and budget tracking, and sales-related data reporting.
- Help coordinate key impulse marketing events like conferences and trade shows.
- Support preparation for weekly and monthly team meetings.
- Assist in creating customer presentation decks and supporting annual and semi-annual field sales meetings.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and retail sectors preferred.
- Familiarity with Nielsen data and retailer Point-of-Sale systems highly desirable.
- Experience in Customer Supply Chain is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented and accuracy-driven with strong analytical skills.
- Competent in budget management and broad business interpretation.
- Able to convert data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and PowerPoint.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Knowledge of SAP environments is a plus.
- French language skills considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range is $78,631 to $104,841 annually, determined by experience, qualifications, and job-related factors. The total package also includes health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
