Stellenbeschreibung

Role overview

This 6-month contract is for three junior business analyst resources who will support an agency’s EHR onboarding stream and connected digital health access work. The assignment is based in Toronto, Ontario, with a hybrid setup. The engagement is through a professional services B2B model and is open only to incorporated entities.

Work schedule and assignment setup

The role is provisionally hybrid and is expected to follow a schedule of 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding breaks. This arrangement may be adjusted depending on organizational needs and at the hiring manager’s discretion.

What the role involves

The position supports onboarding activities using the agency’s established method. The work includes checking Health Information Custodian (HIC) and legal status through the Client Information Form, grouping and mapping clinician end users to the correct approved HIC categories, and confirming the legally responsible person before migration to the Provincial Clinical Viewer and other digital health services.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the full onboarding and intake process for EHR and related digital health services.
  • Examine submitted information and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Classify clinician end users and map them to the appropriate approved HIC categories.
  • Verify legally responsible person details before pre-approval.
  • Keep request, issue, and status records current and accurate.
  • Support follow-up communication with stakeholders as needed.
  • Spot process risks or gaps and escalate them when appropriate.
  • Help prepare process documentation and support continuous improvement efforts.

Required experience and capabilities

  • Working knowledge of PHIPA concepts, including consent, collection, use, disclosure, and safeguards for personal health information.
  • General understanding of the roles of health information custodians and agents under PHIPA.
  • Proven ability to gather requirements and create documentation such as presentations and briefing notes.
  • Experience engaging stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, along with interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to assess information against rules and categories with accuracy.
  • Comfort using standard business software such as Microsoft Office.
  • Capability to work independently while handling multiple requests in a high-volume setting.

Knowledge transfer expectations

Before the assignment ends, the resource must fully transfer knowledge to the agency team. Some handover may take place near the end of the engagement, but updates should also be shared as information is gathered and consolidated. Important deliverables will be passed to the team throughout the assignment.

All related documentation must be provided as part of the handover process. The relevant leads will review these documents, and the manager or director will sign off on them. The resource is also expected to work closely with the agency team during the assignment so that key deliverables, milestones, and documentation remain shared. A walkthrough of any demos, development, or related work will be required before the engagement closes.

Preferred background

Experience with digital health onboarding or access workflows, familiarity with the Provincial Clinical Viewer or similar Ontario Health digital services, and experience coordinating across multiple stakeholders would be helpful. A structured working style in evolving operational environments is also an advantage.

Application and inclusion

Interested candidates were asked to send a resume in confidence by email or apply through the source platform. Akkodis, part of The Adecco Group, states that it welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and identities and values passion, collaboration, inclusion, courage, and a customer-first mindset.
