Role overview
The Stevie Awards, based in Fairfax, Virginia, is hiring a full-time remote Judge Recruiter to source, engage, and coordinate specialized judges across nine business awards programs. The organization is known globally for its business awards and has welcomed more than 12,000 nominations annually from organizations in over 70 countries since 2002.
Judge recruitment and outreach
- Find prospective judges through LinkedIn, personal connections, and other professional networking channels.
- Act as the main contact for both newly recruited judges and existing judges, keeping communication clear and timely.
- Prepare and send invitations, outreach notes, and follow-up communications.
- Answer questions quickly and accurately about the judging process and evaluation standards.
Judging coordination and administration
- Help organize and facilitate judging meetings so participants understand expectations and next steps.
- Track judge activity and progress throughout the judging window for the nine Stevie Awards programs.
- Check judges’ comments and scores to support consistency, fairness, and quality.
- Maintain detailed records of assignments and completion status for a large pool of judges.
Required qualifications
- Background in recruiting, professional networking, or community management.
- Working knowledge of LinkedIn and similar professional networking tools.
- Ability to manage time-sensitive work and tight deadlines.
- Strong organization skills for handling many judges and tracking their progress.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities when working with judges from different regions.
- Comfort with typing and data-entry tasks.
- Confidence in running virtual meetings and presenting to professional groups.
Compensation and benefits
- Annual pay range of $55,000 to $62,000.
