Job Details
- Positions available: Part-time and full-time
- Work schedule: Evenings
- Compensation: $14 per hour, paid weekly
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all floor surfaces through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- Use chemical cleaners and power equipment carefully to avoid damage
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrances
- Empty trash receptacles and handle proper waste disposal including compaction where applicable
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate tools and cleaners
- Perform spot cleaning of carpets and assist with carpet shampooing and extraction
- Ensure paper products and sanitary supplies are stocked
- Adhere to established housekeeping schedules
- Operate heavy cleaning devices such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers when needed
- Perform additional tasks as assigned, based on client requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six months experience in janitorial work
- Training will be provided on the job
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred
- Understanding of custodial procedures and commercial cleaning standards
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing is advantageous
- Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus
