Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote support from home through telephone and remote tools covering 1st and 2nd level support depending on experience.
• Deploy, troubleshoot, and commission IT equipment on-site at customer locations throughout Germany, including workstations, networks, printers/scanners, card readers, and related devices.
• Maintain and support systems and infrastructure including Windows clients and servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VPN, WLAN, firewall basics, and backup/recovery operations.
• Depending on expertise, handle healthcare-specific IT components such as telematics infrastructure, connectors, electronic health professional cards, and ensure thorough documentation and handovers.
• Travel nationwide to perform on-site customer visits offering solution-focused consultancy and a service-oriented approach.
• Produce clear, concise documentation like checklists, tickets, and handover notes to ensure consistency and repeatability of solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Practical experience in IT support, IT operations, or service; formal training as a Specialist in System Integration preferred but practical experience is acceptable.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, and systematic problem-solving skills.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as Hyper-V or VMware.
• Competent in firewall configuration and management, particularly with SOPHOS products.
• Willingness to travel nationwide for customer appointments.
• Valid driver's license (Class B).
• Excellent command of the German language, capable of professional communication with clients.

Desirable Skills (Not Mandatory)

• Familiarity with practice management software (PVS).
• Experience with telematics infrastructure and communication (TI/KIM).
• Knowledge of medical interfaces like DICOM/PACS.
