Position Overview
This role acts as the main ICT liaison at the branch level, entrusted with local IT management duties while collaborating closely with Intesa Sanpaolo’s UAE IT personnel and head office ICT teams. The incumbent will ensure the branch's ICT systems and infrastructure remain highly functional, secure, available, and resilient.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the branch's ICT environment to guarantee smooth operations.
- Oversee hardware and software system availability and performance, ensuring uninterrupted service for users.
- Support essential AS400 operations including SIRE, Safewatch, and Swift Alliance processes.
- Provide first-level troubleshooting; escalate unresolved issues to head office ICT departments for resolution.
- Assist and coordinate ICT projects at the branch, covering both primary and disaster recovery sites.
- Support the establishment, upkeep, and administration of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) plans.
- Coordinate ICT-related BCP/DR testing activities, ensuring compliance with group policies and regulatory standards.
- Manage and administer application access rights for users.
- Ensure adherence to internal ICT security standards and aid in audits and regulatory inspections.
- Deliver ICT support for business operations, including video conferencing and telecommunications.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in an ICT support or management role.
- Hold a university degree in a related field.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English communication.
- Have a good working knowledge of MS Office applications.
