About the Role
Riyadh Cement Company (RCC) seeks a proactive Non-SAP Business Applications Lead responsible for full ownership of delivery, support, and management of all non-SAP business-critical applications. These systems underpin essential business operations, including customer platforms, logistics and weighbridge systems, governance and compliance tools, service management solutions, and various operational applications outside the SAP environment.
Reporting to the IT Applications Manager, the candidate will ensure stable, well-supported applications integrated with SAP and continuously improved to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Take complete operational ownership of all non-SAP business applications covering availability, performance, support, and enhancements.
- Serve as the primary liaison for business users, addressing issues and converting requirements into application improvements.
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of new applications and feature enhancements from gathering requirements through deployment.
- Manage daily interactions with software vendors and implementation partners, monitoring service level agreements and ensuring quality.
- Maintain dependable integration between non-SAP applications and SAP S/4HANA Cloud systems.
- Ensure all applications comply with IT governance, including change management, access control, and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Between 5 to 8 years of experience in managing and supporting non-ERP business applications.
- Hands-on technical problem-solving capabilities to troubleshoot and support applications personally.
- Extensive expertise in application support and lifecycle management such as incident, problem, change, and enhancement management.
- Good knowledge of application integration technologies including APIs, web services, and middleware.
- Experience working with software vendors and implementation partners.
- Strong communication and business engagement skills to work directly with end users and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with ITIL or IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and practices.
Preferred Additional Experience
- Functional experience with integrating applications with SAP S/4HANA.
- SQL proficiency and reporting skills for troubleshooting and data analysis.
- Exposure to industrial, manufacturing, or Tadawul-listed company environments.
- Knowledge of customer portals, logistics/weighbridge, or governance, risk and compliance (GRC) applications.
