Role Overview
As an Inventory Analyst at Mattel, you play a pivotal role within our Supply Chain Management by ensuring products are available at the right place and time. You will analyze stock levels, orders, and deliveries to support seamless operations across various popular brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for all daily inventory-related matters.
- Collaborate closely with the regional Supply Replenishment team and contribute to European-wide projects.
- Maximize order allocation by monitoring physical inventory and transit quantities across product lines.
- Identify potential shortages promptly, analyze non-available items, and proactively implement corrective actions.
- Manage promotional inventory to guarantee optimal support for marketing campaigns.
- Work in partnership with the Planning department to align sales and marketing forecasts with actual stock.
- Prioritize inbound containers at the Distribution Center to maintain high unit fill rates.
- Develop and enhance reporting tools for better inventory visibility and control, driving continuous process improvements.
- Support the regional rework team in coordinating reworks and value-added services.
Qualifications and Skills
- A completed degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics/Planning.
- 2-3 years' professional experience in Supply Chain or inventory analysis, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Tableau, AS400, or SQL is advantageous.
- Strong numerical aptitude, capable of interpreting data to generate actionable insights.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes and a knack for efficient workflows.
- Proactive, hands-on problem-solving approach addressing challenges promptly.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively using the 80/20 principle.
- Ability to stay calm, focused, and solution-oriented in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, working effectively across departments and cultures.
- Analytical mindset with forward-thinking and structured problem-solving abilities.
Additional Information
- Annual gross salary range: EUR 58,560 to EUR 69,540.
- Paid leave includes 30 vacation days plus 2 half-days as Mattel company holidays.
