Installation Engineer (Electrical)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Installation Engineer to lead and monitor the installation, testing, commissioning, and upkeep of electrical infrastructure works. In this position, you will make sure all activities are completed in line with project requirements, relevant standards, safety rules, and approved quality processes.

This opportunity calls for solid hands-on knowledge of electrical systems, coordination across project teams, on-site supervision, testing and commissioning, and communication with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and track electrical installation work at project locations.
• Make sure all electrical tasks follow approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety requirements.
• Manage installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover coordination.
• Check contractor output and confirm adherence to technical and quality expectations.
• Examine engineering drawings, technical documentation, and material approvals/submittals.
• Carry out site checks and confirm installation quality.
• Work with consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders to resolve technical matters.
• Assist with testing and commissioning for LV, MV, and associated electrical systems.
• Compile technical reports, progress notes, inspection logs, and project records.
• Spot project risks and suggest ways to reduce them.
• Ensure work complies with local regulations, international codes, and company quality procedures.
• Take part in project meetings and share technical input and recommendations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.

Experience

The role calls for 8–10 years of experience in electrical installation, construction, testing, commissioning, or utility infrastructure projects. Experience in large infrastructure, utility, industrial, energy, or electrical distribution work is preferred, along with a proven background in site supervision and project execution.
