Opportunity Overview

Are you inquisitive, adept at relationship building, and passionate about linking innovation with business growth? Join Beca as an Innovation Revenue Advisor to help uncover and maximize the value from innovative initiatives across the organization.

Reporting to the Group Tax Manager, your role involves collaborating with project teams, technical experts, and business leaders to pinpoint innovation revenue possibilities, assemble persuasive evidence, and facilitate compliant claims that benefit the company. You will connect people, ideas, and data to ensure Beca gains appropriate recognition and advantages from its innovation efforts.

Additionally, you will champion innovation company-wide by sharing knowledge, raising awareness, and guiding teams to see how their work impacts innovation revenue outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and nurture innovation revenue prospects within the organization.
  • Collaborate with project teams and technical specialists to collect supporting evidence and compile claim documents.
  • Create practical tools, templates, and processes to simplify identification and documentation of qualifying activities.
  • Work with external advisors to interpret complex technical and scientific issues.
  • Stay informed on relevant legislative and regulatory updates.
  • Contribute to internal communications, engagement efforts, and training programs.
  • Monitor results, prepare reports, and disseminate insights.
  • Promote continuous improvement and foster robust relationships both within Beca and externally.

About You

You hold a relevant tertiary qualification in business or a related discipline; CPA or Chartered status is advantageous but not mandatory. Highly organized with strong attention to detail, you excel at managing diverse tasks amid changing priorities and deadlines.

Your commercial awareness and strategic thinking enable you to comprehend intricate business challenges, work confidently amid uncertainty, and advance even with incomplete data. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication abilities are essential as you will influence, challenge, educate, and present to senior leadership.
