Overview
Rentokil Initial is seeking a proactive and self-driven Hygiene Service Technician to join their Hamilton team. This role involves delivering hygiene and cleaning services in the field to ensure client sites maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. The position provides autonomy, variety, and frequent interaction with customers.
Work Details
The position operates Monday through Friday across the Hamilton region, with a company-provided vehicle to support your daily travel needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload the service vehicle to complete daily job assignments.
- Execute cleaning tasks in washrooms and public toilets following specific job guidelines and client policies.
- Supply and upkeep hygiene products such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap dispensers, sanitisers, sanitary bins, and air fresheners.
- Identify and resolve hygiene risks and client concerns to improve workplace environments.
- Accurately complete service reports detailing tasks performed.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a professional attitude throughout.
- Remain vigilant to client needs and seek ways to enhance service quality.
Required Qualifications and Qualities
- Legal entitlement to full-time permanent work in New Zealand.
- Possession of a full, clean driver's license and a clean criminal record.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical fitness emphasizing health and safety compliance.
- Strong self-motivation and effective time management.
- Meticulous attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
- Comfortable using mobile applications and other technology.
- Willingness to travel and stay overnight when necessary.
- Previous cleaning or hygiene experience advantageous but not required.
