HVAC Technician

Position Overview

The HVAC Technician will focus on inspecting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems, air quality control units, and refrigeration equipment. Responsibilities include daily mechanical plant inspections, temperature regulation of the property, energy consumption analysis, and equipment calibration. The role also involves electrical system assembly, testing, repairs, pipe assembly, and routine pool and spa maintenance.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections and maintenance of HVAC, air quality, and refrigeration systems.
• Conduct daily assessments of mechanical plants and regulate building temperatures.
• Monitor energy and utility usage and calibrate controls, gauges, and meters.
• Install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems and wiring.
• Assemble and maintain pipe components including fittings and valves.
• Perform routine maintenance for pools and spas.
• Comply with all company policies on safety and security, report hazards or incidents, and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality, safeguard company assets.
• Greet guests formally and anticipate their service requirements.
• Communicate clearly and maintain positive workplace relationships, addressing colleagues’ concerns effectively.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and identify improvements that enhance efficiency, productivity, safety, and reduce costs.
• Physical requirements include reaching overhead and below knees, navigating confined or elevated spaces, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting and moving objects up to and over 100 pounds as needed.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in a related HVAC field.
• Required certifications include EPA Universal Certification, HVAC certification, and a valid driver's license.
• No supervisory experience necessary.
