Role overview
The Regional HR Specialist is responsible for running daily HR activities for the assigned region. This position serves as the main HR contact for employee-related processes such as attendance, payroll inputs, onboarding, offboarding, and general administrative support.
Core responsibilities
- Track attendance, shifts, and leave records each day, and compute monthly overtime and deduction figures used for payroll.
- Prepare regional payroll inputs, including bonuses, commissions, and deductions, and work with Finance to make sure salaries are processed accurately and on time.
- Handle the full employee joiner-to-exit process, from collecting new hire paperwork and delivering HR induction to managing resignations, exits, and final settlement tasks.
- Keep employee files and records compliant and up to date, issue formal letters and contracts, and coordinate with the GR/PRO team for visa and residency renewals.
- Respond to employee questions, support regional managers with policy implementation, and assist with initiatives that improve local employee engagement.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist or Personnel Specialist role, preferably within logistics, express delivery, or e-commerce.
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
- Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel for data handling and payroll tracking, along with experience using HRIS platforms.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic; Chinese language ability is considered a strong advantage.
- Good understanding of local labor laws and social insurance regulations.
Additional information
This role is based in the Madinah Region and is a full-time, onsite position. The job focuses on regional HR operations and requires strong coordination across HR, Finance, GR/PRO, and management teams.
