Role Overview
This permanent, part-time position based in Sydney supports the People & Corporate Services team by delivering comprehensive administrative assistance across HR, payroll, recruitment, and corporate service activities including Technology and Facilities & Security support. Reporting to the Head of People & Corporate Services, the Administrator plays a pivotal role ensuring accurate HR data management and smooth operational workflows.
Key Duties
- Maintain precise employee data within the HRIS system (ELMO), managing onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle updates
- Support payroll processing through accurate documentation and input assistance
- Help prepare and publish job postings and coordinate recruitment efforts
- Assist in drafting HR-related correspondence, contracts, compliance documents, and manage vendor relations
- Contribute to the creation of presentations, briefing packs, and standardized templates
- Perform general administrative work such as document filing, correspondence handling, and record maintenance
- Update intranet content and maintain internal databases and registers
- Process invoices and liaise with finance teams to ensure timely payments
- Coordinate logistics and scheduling for meetings and events within the team
- Collect and analyse HR and corporate services data to generate reports and track compliance
- Identify and recommend improvements to administrative procedures and data accuracy
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Previous background in HR or administrative support roles
- Strong organisational abilities and effective time management
- Exceptional attention to detail and high accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience in data analysis and report generation
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms such as ELMO is preferred but not mandatory
- Capability to handle confidential information discreetly
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting people and culture or corporate service teams
- Knowledge of accounts payable and invoice processing systems
- Familiarity with presentation and design software (PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe)
