HR Payroll Team Lead

Job Overview

We are seeking an HR Payroll Team Lead to handle comprehensive payroll operations for a medium to large-sized enterprise. This leadership role requires in-depth expertise in payroll administration, compliance oversight, and governance, ensuring accuracy and regulatory adherence across all payroll activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursements.
• Maintain strict adherence to payroll governance protocols and generate compliance reports as required.
• Apply thorough knowledge of the Shops and Establishments Act along with other statutory labor laws relevant to payroll processing.
• Conduct payroll audits to confirm statutory compliance and accuracy of payroll records.
• Manage HR operations related to payroll via effective use of HRMS platforms.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or any graduate qualification.
• Solid understanding of payroll management principles and statutory compliance.
• Experience working with payroll automation tools, HRMS software, and payroll processing systems.
• Familiarity with labor law regulations including Shops & Establishments Act.
• Previous involvement in payroll governance and compliance reporting.

Additional Information

Employment is based in Mumbai, India. Salary ranges from 600000 to 900000 INR annually. The position requires close collaboration with shared service teams and familiarity with payroll handling in BPO and KPO environments.
