About the Role
We are a Unified Trade-in company seeking a proactive HR Executive capable of independently managing all aspects of human resources for our expanding team. This position offers the opportunity to take comprehensive ownership of HR functions within a growing small business.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
- Maintain detailed employee records, monitor attendance, and administer leave management.
- Manage monthly payroll and oversee timely salary distributions.
- Ensure statutory compliance for PF, ESI, and Professional Tax with assistance from consultants or accountants.
- Prepare and handle official documents such as offer letters, appointment letters, and HR policies.
- Address employee grievances and foster a positive workplace environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support activities that enhance employee engagement.
- Manage exit procedures, final settlements, and related documentation.
- Collaborate with department heads to fulfill staffing requirements.
- Administer daily office operations and maintain the condition of office premises.
- Manage relationships with vendors spanning housekeeping, stationery, courier services, pantry management, and AMC/repairs.
- Supervise inventory and procurement of office supplies while adhering to budgets.
- Coordinate payment of utilities such as electricity, internet, and rent in liaison with the accounts team.
- Keep records of company assets like laptops, furniture, and equipment.
- Organize travel arrangements and accommodation for employees as necessary.
- Maintain compliance documents, statutory registers, and licenses up to date.
- Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and employee engagement programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred in HR or Business; an MBA in HR is advantageous.
- One to three years’ experience in a generalist HR and administrative role.
- Thorough knowledge of labor laws and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and multitasking capabilities.
- Ability to operate autonomously and efficiently manage HR and administrative duties.
