Housemaid / Houseman (m/w/d)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Housemaid / Houseman (m/w/d) to join our team at AMANO Grand Central and ROMY by AMANO hotels in Berlin. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness standards and managing housekeeping operations within the hotel.

Key Duties

• Oversee cleanliness throughout the hotel including guest rooms and public areas.
• Prepare daily room assignments and coordinate the housekeeping staff, including room attendants and porters.
• Conduct room inspections, authorize release of cleaned rooms, and report maintenance issues to the technical department.
• Lead, train, and support the housekeeping team, delegating tasks effectively.
• Collaborate closely with Front Office and technical teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage inventory of supplies and laundry stock, including preparing orders and conducting inventories.

Candidate Profile

• Successfully completed education or degree in hotel management or possess leadership experience in housekeeping.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in both German and English.
• Ability to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Dependable, trustworthy, honest, and able to handle stress calmly.
• Friendly, confident demeanor with strong communication and teamwork abilities.
