Position Overview

The Housekeeping Attendant at Hilton Singapore Orchard is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in assigned guest areas or serving as a runner. Daily tasks involve ensuring guest room floors, pantries, and storage areas are clean, well-stocked, and following Hilton's standards and policies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding cleaning services in assigned areas, adhering strictly to Hilton standards and operational procedures.
• Respect and ensure the privacy of guests during all service interactions.
• Provide prompt and courteous assistance to guests, responding efficiently to their requests.
• Clean guest rooms and replenish supplies including linens and amenities following prescribed standards and protocols.
• Perform turndown service when requested.
• Safeguard master keys to ensure their security at all times.
• Maintain housekeeper trolleys in a neat and fully stocked condition.
• Keep all equipment in proper working order and report any malfunctions or defects promptly.
• Ensure the guest corridors and floor pantry areas are clean and orderly.
• Maintain the linen room neatness and report losses or damages of hotel property to supervisors.
• Promote and uphold courteous, professional conduct when engaging with guests and team members.
• Collaborate effectively with other departments and maintain good team relationships.
• Report maintenance issues immediately to the Engineering department.
• Follow lost and found procedures accurately.
• Possess basic knowledge of hotel operating systems to assist guests and address inquiries or complaints efficiently.
• Actively promote Hilton hotel products and services to guests.
• Refill and maintain par stock of guest amenities and linens on each floor and in storage areas.
• Perform regular inventory checks of guest supplies to ensure adequate availability.
• Deliver and arrange requested guest amenities promptly.
• Participate in special projects or assignments as directed.
• Adhere to Hilton’s policies, code of business conduct, and employee handbook guidelines.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as assigned by management.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• Completed high school education and attended relevant skills training.
• At least one year of housekeeping experience in a similar role within internationally branded hotels.
• Proficient in English to fulfill business communication requirements.
• Well-versed in daily housekeeping operations focused on guest floors.
• Availability and flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Good knowledge regarding chemical handling and room cleaning methods.
