Job description
Role Overview
As a Housekeeping Assistant at Infinite Aged Care, you will be pivotal in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment for our residents. Reporting to the Hotel Services Team Leader, your efforts will ensure the care home remains hygienic and comfortable, enhancing residents' daily experiences much like standards found in hotel or accommodation settings.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in dining areas, hallways, lounges, library, and individual resident rooms following set hygiene protocols.
- Operate cleaning equipment and a housekeeping trolley safely to maintain workspaces free of hazards.
- Ensure the environment is trip-free, safe, and orderly at all times.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in cleaning, laundry, or similar support roles is preferred.
- A proactive team player with a friendly, respectful, and courteous attitude backed by a strong work ethic.
- Compassionate with genuine care towards residents and their wellbeing.
- Commitment to workplace safety practices and clear communication within the team.
- Willing and able to assist residents in dining areas by maintaining cleanliness and safety.
- Independent problem-solver adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Dependable, hardworking, flexible, and with availability for various shifts.
