Role Overview
This full-time, on-site Housekeeper position at Hotel Pearl Square in Jaipur focuses on keeping guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and shared areas clean and guest-ready. The role covers day-to-day room upkeep, laundry handling, supply organization, and prompt reporting of any maintenance concerns. The Housekeeper also supports smooth guest service by responding politely to basic requests and coordinating with the front desk and other departments when needed.
Key Duties
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common spaces according to hotel standards.
- Make beds, dust surfaces, vacuum floors, and mop areas as part of the daily routine.
- Restock linens, toiletries, and other guest amenities as required.
- Handle laundry items, including washing, drying, folding, and proper storage.
- Keep cleaning materials and supplies organized and ready for use.
- Identify and report repair or maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure rooms are prepared on schedule before guest check-in.
- Interact with guests in a courteous and professional manner and assist with simple requests.
- Work with the front office and other hotel departments to support smooth operations.
- Follow hygiene, safety, and housekeeping procedures at all times.
Qualifications and Expectations
- Good laundry handling skills, including washing, drying, folding, and caring for linens and guest clothing.
