Position Summary

Reporting to the operations/housekeeping supervisor, the Housekeeper is responsible for various cleaning and sanitization duties to uphold building standards daily and post-events like concerts, games, and other functions. The role also entails readiness for event support and maintaining clean, safe environments throughout the venue.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare for large events and assist with event setup, including arranging meeting spaces per checklists or data sheets.
• Keep all public areas and restrooms clean and sufficiently stocked before and during events.
• Conduct scheduled cleaning and sanitization tasks daily, weekly, and monthly, documenting completion with signature and time.
• Report supply shortages or needs to the housekeeping supervisor promptly.
• Maintain and clean all equipment used during duties.
• Follow policies regarding safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Ensure the workplace remains clean and safe at all times, reporting hazards immediately.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies such as fires, evacuations, equipment failures, and address customer concerns as necessary.
• Pay close attention to detail in all tasks.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to clients and patrons of the venue.
• Undertake additional assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum one year of experience in commercial or facility cleaning preferred.
• Possess or willing to obtain valid WHMIS, First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications within the first three months of employment.
• Available to work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated excellence in internal and external customer service.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and ability to multitask effectively.
• Team player with good collaborative skills.
• Proficient in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Physically able to lift heavy objects safely.

Salary & Benefits
