Home Delivery Driver

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Home Delivery Driver to join our team in Stroud. This position involves delivering groceries directly to customers, ensuring excellent service, and representing the company positively on the road. The role requires physical activity, safe handling of goods, and interaction with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Load the delivery van safely, following proper lifting and manual handling protocols.
• Drive responsibly and adhere strictly to road safety standards.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks before starting daily routes.
• Guarantee that groceries arrive in optimal condition to customers.
• Deliver personable, friendly customer service at all times.
• Assist with in-store tasks as needed.
• Manage your schedule independently and efficiently.
• Be flexible to work various shift patterns between 6am and 11pm.

Requirements

• Possess a valid full driving license held for at least three years with no more than six penalty points.
• Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Be punctual and capable of meeting deadlines consistently.
• Demonstrate a high level of awareness and concern for road safety.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay rate of £13.71.
