Position Overview
Join a premier Australian Equities Research team as a Healthcare Equity Research Associate based in Sydney. This role offers a chance to work with a well-respected Capital Markets firm within their Healthcare sector team, providing extensive company analysis and valuation of prominent ASX-listed healthcare companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed company research and analysis of healthcare firms listed on the ASX.
- Build, maintain and update financial models including valuation through discounted cash flow (DCF) techniques.
- Assess industry trends and company fundamentals to support investment decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Healthcare Research to articulate investment views.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business disciplines such as Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- 1 to 3 years of equities research experience in any sector, with a solid understanding of financial statements and valuation methodologies.
- Strong interest in the listed healthcare industry; candidates from other equity sectors are encouraged to apply.
- Accounting qualifications like CA or professional finance designations such as CFA are advantageous.
- Proactive attitude with the ability to thrive in a high-performance, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent skills in interpersonal communication, relationship management, and time organization.
