Role Overview

As a key enabler of growth, technology at Rho Nutrition must be secure, reliable, and efficient. We are seeking an accomplished IT and Information Security leader to oversee technology strategy and operations. This leadership role involves managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity safeguards, and employee technology support in a dynamic remote-first setting. Collaborating with multiple departments, you will guide vendor relations, ensure regulatory compliance, and mitigate risks while building scalable IT systems and teams.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement comprehensive IT and information security strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Lead corporate IT operations encompassing endpoint and identity management, collaboration tools, and employee technical support.
• Develop and enhance cybersecurity programs including policies, risk management, and incident response.
• Administer IT infrastructure, SaaS applications, cloud services, networking, and security measures.
• Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, licensing, and budgeting for technology resources.
• Ensure adherence to security frameworks, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Create and maintain business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response plans with periodic testing.
• Partner across departments to improve efficiency via technological automation and process improvements.
• Establish scalable IT processes, documentation, standards, and operating procedures.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage internal IT staff alongside external managed service and security providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• At least 8 years of advancing experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, cybersecurity, or tech operations.
• Minimum 3 years managing IT teams, vendors, or managed services, preferably in high-growth settings.
• Strong expertise with cloud business applications, identity/access management, endpoint security, networking, and collaboration platforms.
• Proven knowledge of cybersecurity implementations such as MFA, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Skilled in vendor management, software procurement, licensing, and budget oversight.
• Familiar with security standards including SOC 2, NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.
• Excellent project leadership and stakeholder communication capabilities.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in fast-paced environments.
• Preferred experience includes supporting remote/hybrid teams, working in health, CPG, or e-commerce sectors, leading certifications, and possessing relevant IT security certifications.
