Head of Fixed Assets Inventory

Role Overview

An opportunity is open for a senior finance leader to take charge of fixed assets and inventory management for a client based in Qatar. The position is at Senior Manager level and runs for one year.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should hold one of the following qualifications: CA, CPA, CFA, or an MBA in Finance.

Experience Profile

This role calls for more than 20 years of total accounting experience, with the following background:

• At least 10 years spent in a managerial capacity handling fixed assets and inventory-related work.
• At least 10 years of accounting exposure in the healthcare or hospital sector.
• A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in the government sector.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience in Qatar.
• Proven experience overseeing large fixed asset and inventory portfolios in an Oracle E-Business Suite environment.
• Strong command of internationally accepted accounting principles and standards.

Technical and Professional Skills

• Practical exposure to major ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to analyze situations effectively, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
• Capability to present information clearly and train stakeholders on procedures and best practices.
• Well-developed planning, organization, and prioritization skills, with the ability to handle several tasks and deadlines in a busy setting.
