Role Summary

We are seeking a Head of Content to lead and manage content as a strategic channel for user acquisition and engagement rather than solely a branding exercise. This pivotal role demands accountability for critical metrics such as organic traffic, search rankings, content-driven sign-ups, engagement levels, and consistent content delivery from the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of content's contribution to new member recruitment by driving organic traffic, conversion rates linked to content, and optimizing cost-per-acquisition through organic channels, with regular monthly reporting of results.
• Lead SEO initiatives by managing keyword rankings, fostering growth in organic search traffic, and enhancing domain authority through a clear, actionable strategy.
• Ensure content production operates smoothly at scale by enforcing a predetermined monthly content output across various channels, maintaining editorial standards including accuracy, tone, and brand consistency.
• Supervise and nurture the content team by setting clear individual goals for quantity and quality of output, and eliminating over-reliance on any single individual for specific content types or channels.
• Drive channel-specific engagement by measuring and optimizing key engagement metrics such as email open and click rates, social media interactions, and video completion rates based on defined targets.
• Generate comprehensive, transparent reports on traffic, engagement, conversion, and rankings to keep stakeholders informed on content effectiveness without requiring manual data reconstruction.
• Collaborate effectively across departments, including Growth, Product, and Compliance teams, to ensure content supports acquisition objectives while adhering to brand guidelines and regulatory standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 7 years of experience in content strategy and production, including over 3 years in leadership roles such as Head or Director of Content, preferably within fintech, cryptocurrency, or fast-growing regulated digital industries.
• Proven ability to manage and improve content-driven acquisition metrics and SEO outcomes with documented data-backed results.
• Hands-on involvement in end-to-end content creation across multiple platforms such as web, social media, email, and video at scale.
• Expertise in technical and content SEO, capable of setting goals and achieving measurable improvements in ranking and web traffic.
• Experience in managing and developing content teams, fostering collaboration across departments and setting clear performance benchmarks.
• Strong familiarity with crypto and fintech sectors to produce credible and accurate content independently.
