About the Role
This opportunity is for people who actively own or administer a verified Google Business Profile and can manage it as an independent contractor. The work is remote and centered on keeping a business listing accurate, responsive, and engaging.
Role Summary
You will be responsible for maintaining a current Google Business Profile, handling customer interactions, and contributing practical insights based on your market experience. The role is intended for someone who can work on their own schedule while still keeping the profile active and well-managed.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep the Google Business Profile updated with correct and timely business details.
- Reply to customer questions and interact with users to improve visibility and satisfaction.
- Share useful perspectives with representatives from different industries to help surface marketplace trends.
- Operate independently and on an asynchronous basis while maintaining profile quality and engagement.
Qualifications
Applicants must already have verified ownership or administrative control of a Google Business Profile. A minimum of one year of hands-on experience managing a business listing is required, along with regular use of the GBP platform. Prior exposure to Hospitality & Lodging, Food & Beverage, Retail & Shopping, or Professional Services is preferred.
