Overview
We are seeking a dedicated permanent General Operative / Handyperson to join Amey's team supporting the Nuclear Restoration Services contract at Winfrith. This role involves on-site work focused on assisting with general maintenance and facilities management duties within a highly regulated nuclear sector.
Working Hours
The standard weekly hours consist of 36 hours worked Monday to Thursday from 07:30 to 16:30 and Fridays from 07:30 to 12:30.
Role Responsibilities
- Perform collaborative general upkeep and maintenance tasks across the site alongside skilled tradespeople.
- Undertake a variety of facilities management duties as assigned by the management team.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Support organizational sustainability and zero carbon initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in DIY and general building maintenance activities.
- Possession of CITB certification or a comparable qualification.
- Openness to developing new skills relevant to the role.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
