About DUBIMED
DUBIMED Medical Supplies Trading LLC is looking for an attentive and driven General Accountant to enhance our Finance department in Dubai. This opportunity suits candidates with 1 to 2 years of accounting experience aiming to advance their professional journey within a dynamic company environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee comprehensive bookkeeping activities and maintain precise financial transaction records daily.
- Generate financial reports including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements and efficiently manage month-end and year-end closing operations.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes by managing vendor billing, purchase orders, and ensuring prompt payments to suppliers.
- Calculate, submit, and reconcile all necessary local and federal taxes while ensuring compliance with all trade and corporate tax regulations.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations, oversee petty cash operations, and prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field; professional certifications are advantageous.
- At least one to two years of experience in accounting, preferably within trading, distribution, or supply chain sectors.
- Proficient with ERP and accounting tools such as SAP, Oracle Cloud, Tally Prime, or QuickBooks, alongside advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and competence in managing multi-currency accounting and variable cost environments.
