Game Tester / Gameplay Data Capture Specialist - Remote Contract

Position Overview

We are seeking a Gameplay Data Capture Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. This remote role involves playing a variety of high-profile AAA games to systematically collect and record gameplay data using specialized in-house tools. The role requires detailed and accurate documentation of gameplay sessions and close collaboration with the project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Play multiple leading AAA games and use company-developed tools to capture in-depth gameplay data.
• Meticulously record, organize, and annotate each gaming session ensuring precision and consistency.
• Work closely with team leads and fellow specialists to communicate feedback and updates effectively.
• Diagnose and solve any technical difficulties encountered during recording and data capture procedures.
• Securely store, categorize, and transmit all collected data in line with project protocols.
• Maintain regular and professional communication in both verbal and written form with the remote customer team.

Candidate Requirements

• Demonstrated passion and experience with AAA titles, including ownership or access to the specific games needed for the tasks.
• Strong gameplay abilities alongside the discipline to follow detailed instructions for data capture accurately.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills that emphasize clarity, promptness, and attention to detail.
• Possession of a high-performance computer capable of efficiently running and recording AAA games without lag or technical issues.
• Previous experience with gameplay recording or data capture tools is highly desirable, with preference given to candidates with industry or proprietary tool knowledge.

• Type: Contract
• Compensation Range: $10 to $20 per hour
• Work Commitment: Between 10 and 40 hours per week, flexible scheduling
