Role Summary

We are looking for a seasoned ERP Implementation Expert specializing as a Functional Consultant to spearhead end-to-end Odoo ERP deployment projects. This includes tasks from requirements analysis through to system launch and ongoing support. Candidates must possess thorough functional and technical knowledge of Odoo, especially the production module, along with demonstrated success delivering projects within the Ethiopian market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customize and configure Odoo modules tailored to client specifications while leveraging deep understanding of Odoo frameworks, integrations, and IoT-enabled processes.
  • Serve as a liaison bridging business requirements and technical teams to develop scalable, durable ERP solutions.
  • Oversee the entire Odoo project lifecycle: scoping, designing, building, testing, deployment, and post-launch hyper care support, including end-user training.
  • Develop functional requirement documents for customizations and coordinate with developers to implement them effectively.
  • Engage with clients to map their business workflows and design Odoo-based solutions, advising on industry best practices and workflows particularly for manufacturing, distribution, and service sectors.
  • Report project progress and status to managers, steering committees, and business stakeholders regularly.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user manuals to facilitate smooth transition and adoption of new systems.
  • Assist with change management efforts, aiding teams in adapting to processes enhanced by Odoo implementations.
  • Collaborate across departments including development, quality assurance, finance, human resources, supply chain, and manufacturing to ensure cohesive delivery and operations optimization.
