Role Overview
We seek a skilled, organised, and customer-centric Front Desk Coordinator to serve as the welcoming presence of our practice. This role suits someone who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, excels in relationship-building, and is passionate about exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer a professional and hospitable reception for every patient
- Efficiently manage appointment scheduling and practice workflow
- Address patient inquiries through in-person interaction, phone calls, and online channels
- Maintain precise patient records and updated practice information
- Handle payment processing, explain treatment costs, and provide administrative support
- Assist clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Keep the reception area orderly and professional
- Cultivate positive relationships with patients and contribute to a supportive team culture
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:15 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in dental, healthcare, or administrative roles is preferred
- Exceptional customer service abilities driven by a sincere desire to assist others
- Confident and clear communication skills in spoken and written English
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent organisational skills and adeptness at time management
- Proficient computer skills with quick adaptability to new software
- Positive, approachable, and professional demeanor with a collaborative mindset
- Ability to relate to diverse patients and foster a comfortable atmosphere
- Must be a New Zealand resident living in Auckland CBD or nearby suburbs with feasible commute options to St Heliers
- Capable of working effectively within a close team while upholding professional standards
