Food Service Worker

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Food Service Worker to join our collegiate dining team based in Albany, Georgia at Albany State University. This full-time, onsite role involves engaging in various food service operations within a fast-paced academic environment, providing opportunities to gain diverse skills while serving a varied clientele daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, and distribute food items across different areas such as tray lines, dish rooms, cafeterias, and storerooms.
• Perform multiple duties as required by management; tasks may evolve to include additional responsibilities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong interpersonal abilities complemented by excellent customer service skills.
• Keen attention to detail with a solid understanding of service protocols.
• Effective communication and organizational capabilities.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in food service roles is beneficial but not required.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranging from $12 to $17.
