Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Farm Support Advisor to join our team based in Cahir, County Tipperary. The position involves close collaboration with the Head of Farm Support, partners, local office teams, bookkeepers, and clients, primarily supporting commercial farmers in financial and farm management services.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients and internal teams in maximizing the benefit of financial management software.
- Develop and review farm budgets, concentrating on the dairy farming sector.
- Prepare financial forecasts, new entrant proposals, scenario plans (such as expansion and succession), and loan assessments.
- Collaborate with banking teams on client loan applications.
- Regularly evaluate actual farm financial performance compared to budgets and benchmark data, predominantly for dairy farms, and communicate findings to clients.
- Ensure adherence to best practice standards in service delivery.
- Engage in business development and activities aimed at acquiring new clients.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a third-level qualification in Agriculture, Accounting, or a related Business discipline.
- Possesses at least three years of experience working directly with farmers or SMEs.
- Has a comprehensive understanding of farming operations with emphasis on the dairy sector.
- Knowledgeable about trends and strategies to improve farm performance.
- Excellent communication abilities paired with strong time management skills.
- Keen interest in technology and tools that facilitate improvements in farming practices.
- Motivated to assist farmers in making informed decisions to enhance profitability.
