Family Practitioner / General Practitioner

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician to become a part of our expanding, physician-owned clinic located in scenic White Rock / South Surrey. This position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities in a supportive, collaborative setting that emphasizes work-life balance and exemplary patient care.

Role and Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, ongoing family medicine services.
• Perform physical examinations, diagnose, and manage a broad range of health conditions.
• Collaborate with allied health professionals and medical specialists to coordinate patient care.
• Provide education and preventive counseling to support patients' health.
• Maintain thorough electronic medical records using OSCAR Pro system.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
• Carry coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
• Have a strong commitment to patient-centered and evidence-based medical practice.
• Excellent communication abilities and teamwork orientation.
• Demonstrate empathy, approachability, and dedication to continuous patient care.

Compensation and Contract Details

• Estimated annual remuneration between CAD 300,000 and CAD 400,000.
• Compensation structured on an 80/20 split model, consistent and transparent across all physicians.
• No overhead costs applied to private billing and panel payments.
• Available contract options include Longitudinal Family Practice (LFP), New-to-Practice (NTP), or Fee-for-Service arrangements.
• Permanent long-term contract with a flexible break clause requiring a three-month advance notice.
• No call responsibilities.
• Complimentary on-site parking.

Clinic Information and Location

• The clinic is physician-owned and operated, currently staffed by three doctors and three experienced medical office assistants.
• Facility includes eight examination rooms and onsite supervisory support.
• Situated near Peace Arch Hospital with 160 beds, serving a community of approximately 119,000 people experiencing steady growth.
• Located in a vibrant seaside community with highly rated schools and abundant recreational activities including forest trails and water sports.
• Conveniently positioned five minutes from the U.S. border and forty-five minutes from downtown Vancouver.
