About the Role
This is a full-time experimental physics research role focused on hydrogen technologies, with a strong emphasis on green hydrogen, photocatalysis, materials characterization, and data-driven analysis. The position is structured as a four-year Research and Innovation assignment split across India and Finland, with two years in India followed by two years in Finland.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out rigorous research work in hydrogen technologies and closely related scientific areas.
- Design and develop novel, impactful solutions for challenges in green hydrogen.
- Work with research teams across disciplines and coordinate efforts between India and Finland.
- Complete the four-year Research and Innovation engagement, divided into two years in India and two years in Finland.
- Prepare and immobilize photocatalysts for solar hydrogen generation, and perform material analysis using techniques such as XRD, SEM, TEM, FTIR, UV-Vis, and similar methods.
- Analyze experimental findings through Python-based coding, theory, and simulation support.
- Apply Python and AI/ML methods for data handling, reaction kinetics modeling, and catalysis-related machine learning use cases.
- Keep accurate research documentation and maintain detailed experimental records.
- Prepare reports, research publications, presentation material, and support proposal writing.
