Role overview

As an Expeditor at Lam, you will help keep manufacturing on track by ensuring materials move through the right channels and arrive when needed. The role centers on resolving shortages, supporting production timelines, and maintaining the smooth movement of parts and materials across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out coordinating, routing, and material-handling tasks that support production schedules.
• Release materials for product launches related to work orders and reservations.
• Run system backflush activities for completed PMs and investigate any system-related issues.
• Rush parts to resolve material shortages, NCi, and similar supply issues.
• Make sure incoming materials are directed to the correct destination.
• Track the movement of materials and parts between departments to help meet committed schedules.
• Complete SAP transactions for material movement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to those transactions.
• Move urgent parts from the warehouse to the manufacturing floor when needed.

Requirements

• Minimum SKM 4 or a diploma in an engineering or computer science discipline.
• Strong English reading, writing, and speaking ability.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-moving, deadline-driven cleanroom environment while wearing full PPE.
• Comfortable performing work that requires body movement in multiple positions.
• Familiarity with SAP-based systems, computer applications, and office tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Work location model

This role follows Lam’s hybrid work approach. Depending on the position, hybrid arrangements may fall under either On-site Flex or Virtual Flex. On-site Flex typically includes 3 or more in-office days each week, while Virtual Flex generally involves 1 to 2 on-site days weekly, with the remainder remote.
