Role Overview
This Human Resources position is based in Mumbai and reports to the Sr. Manager. The selected professional will act as a global talent acquisition partner, supporting Meril’s hiring agenda across multiple regions. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on recruitment execution, ensuring the company attracts high-quality talent, strengthens its employer brand, and delivers a positive candidate journey.
What You Will Do
- Work with business leaders to identify global manpower needs and build hiring plans accordingly.
- Ensure recruitment activities support Meril’s business priorities and expansion roadmap.
- Handle the complete hiring cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer coordination, for different geographies.
- Support and execute employer branding efforts that position Meril strongly within the life sciences talent market.
- Coordinate closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and key success criteria.
- Offer guidance on talent market conditions, candidate supply, and competitive hiring trends.
- Help create consistent recruitment practices across regions while respecting local laws, customs, and compliance needs.
- Use recruitment tools and platforms such as ATS and LinkedIn Talent Solutions to improve hiring efficiency.
Eligibility and Experience
The role calls for 3 to 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, ideally from MedTech, healthcare, pharma, or a similar sector. Candidates should have handled global hiring or cross-border recruitment assignments and should bring strong communication and stakeholder-management abilities. Comfort with recruitment technology, employer branding, and a fast-moving innovation-focused setting is important. An MBA or BBA in Human Resources is expected.
