Job summary
This role is for a regional customer service technologist who will manage complaint resolution for the assigned territory. The position focuses on technical support for field teams, diagnosing issues at customer sites, and guiding the team toward practical solutions. The person in this role will work closely with Territory Sales Executives and assist them with technical inputs, especially for complex complaints.
Key responsibilities
- Handle customer complaints within the region and support frontline teams on critical cases.
- Visit sites or provide guidance over phone calls to troubleshoot technical issues and arrive at the root cause.
- Step in when a complaint is technically difficult for a new team member or when an experienced Territory Sales Executive needs help understanding it.
- Run training sessions based on experience, including PTP sessions for new joiners, shop meets, painter meets, and dealer meets.
- Educate stakeholders on correct product usage and updates on newly launched products.
- Track complaint patterns, identify possible defective batches early, and help reduce repeat issues from the market.
- Observe market practices, conduct Color Sure audits, and share findings with the sales team as preventive action against complaints.
- Support legal teams on duplicate material and counterfeiting cases by providing on-ground assistance as per the agreed protocol.
- Work with Research & Technology teams to evaluate new products and formulations in the field before launch.
Qualifications
Applicants should have a graduate or postgraduate background in Science, preferably Chemistry, or hold a Diploma in Paint Technology.
