Position Summary
The Executive Director of Global Operations Execution holds a senior leadership role responsible for driving global operational strategies, coordinating business activities across regions, optimizing processes, and ensuring effective execution. Reporting to senior executives such as the VP or EVP of Global Operations, COO, or General Manager, this position ensures alignment between global strategy and regional operations, overseeing performance management, project execution, and resource allocation to maintain efficient company operations worldwide.
Primary Responsibilities
- Implement global operational strategies and yearly objectives, translating corporate plans into actionable regional tasks and monitoring goal attainment.
- Develop and standardize global operations processes, policies, and management systems to optimize regional models and facilitate sharing of best practices.
- Manage performance of regional operations teams by setting KPIs, analyzing operational data and business outcomes, and initiating enhancements.
- Drive end-to-end global business process improvements across supply chain, production, delivery, and customer service through Lean Operations and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Lead execution of critical global projects by coordinating resources across countries, managing schedules, budgets, risk, and ensuring quality delivery.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including operations, sales, marketing, R&D, supply chain, finance, and HR to optimize resources, solve operational challenges, and support business growth.
- Advance digital operations by optimizing ERP, CRM, supply chain, and management platforms, and utilize data analytics for improved decision-making.
- Establish and monitor frameworks for managing operational risks and compliance, ensuring business continuity and operational stability globally.
- Mentor regional operations managers and leaders, build global talent development programs, and foster a culture of high performance to elevate execution capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Operations Management, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering Management, or related fields; MBA, EMBA or Master’s in Operations Strategy preferred.
- Over 20 years of experience in corporate or global operations management, including 8 to 15+ years in international operations leadership roles.
- Proven record managing multinational corporations, large conglomerates, or global organizations with expertise in global process optimization, business growth, or operational transformation.
