Role summary
The company is hiring an Electronics Technician for its Mississauga, Ontario site. This position suits someone with hands-on experience working with ESD-sensitive components, building and checking aerospace electronics, carrying out testing and repairs, and using and maintaining test equipment in an aerospace manufacturing setting.

Key responsibilities
- Build aerospace electronic products in line with detailed assembly instructions.
- Run acceptance tests on finished electronic units.
- Carry out initial fault diagnosis and repair for defective products when needed.
- Use and look after production test equipment.
- Follow process documents for activities such as debugging and repair.
- Prepare and configure test equipment for product testing.
- Work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a culture of ongoing improvement.
- Keep the work area neat and compliant with safety practices.
- Enter data as required.
- Take on additional duties assigned by the production supervisor.
Required qualifications
- Degree, diploma, or certification in Electronics Technician or an equivalent field.
- At least 1 year of experience in assembling, troubleshooting, inspecting, and repairing electronic products.
- IPC certification is preferred.
- Previous electronics manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of how to handle ESD-sensitive products.
- Good working knowledge of electronic equipment such as digital multimeters, power supplies, and electronic loads.
- Ability to work with a range of hand tools and power tools.
- Sound understanding of engineering and assembly drawings.
- Soldering experience is an advantage.
- Electrical or mechanical aptitude is an advantage.
- Strong spoken and written communication skills.
- Advanced PC and Microsoft Office skills are preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
