Electrical Engineering Technician

About the Role

We are seeking an attentive and skilled Electrical Engineering Technician to join the Engineering team at our Abu Dhabi hotel. Your key responsibility will be to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff by keeping all electrical systems and equipment functioning reliably and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on the hotel's electrical systems including lighting, motors, and electrical panels.
• Perform preventive upkeep and promptly address electrical faults, guest requests, and emergency issues.
• Adhere strictly to electrical safety regulations and maintain detailed records of all inspections and repairs completed.
• Contribute to the Engineering team’s energy conservation efforts and facilitate smooth operational workflows within the hotel.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a Diploma, vocational certification, or trade qualification in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
• Prior experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within hotels, commercial buildings, or facility management settings.
• Sound technical expertise including the ability to interpret wiring diagrams and safely operate electrical testing instruments.
• Strong skills in troubleshooting, effective communication, and teamwork; availability to work flexible shifts as necessary.
