The portfolio includes large data centre projects across different European locations, covering both OFCI and CDCI arrangements. The business is described as having a strong culture and is expanding alongside continued growth, offering a long-term path with a contractor that aims to support employees professionally and financially.
Key responsibilities
- Study drawings and design documents thoroughly to understand the full project scope.

- Make sure all design work aligns with current laws, standards, and accepted codes of practice.
- Support engineering delivery by coordinating with important stakeholders such as clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

- Review technical equipment details and prepare procurement documentation.
- Put together subcontract tender packages.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to confirm they match the intended technical design requirements.

- Examine tender information, including drawings, specifications, addenda, and other documents, to identify commercial risks and any gaps in scope.
- Work with designers to develop proposals for detailed design progression.
- Spot project risks and create mitigation actions.
- Promote improved engineering methods and new processes that can speed up project delivery.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of electrical design engineering experience, ideally gained on mission-critical projects or equipment.
