Job Role and Responsibilities
The role centers on the comprehensive ownership and management of the product catalogue spanning multiple e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, eBay, and Walmart. This position is crucial for ensuring product visibility, availability, and compliance with marketplace standards. Activities include creating and publishing product listings, managing Shopify catalogue details including variants and collections, performing bulk imports, maintaining product variations, and handling flat file uploads to keep attributes synchronized across channels. Additionally, it requires resolving issues related to Amazon compliance, such as suppressed listings, quality alerts, and category restrictions, as well as managing Seller Support cases until resolution.
Candidate Requirements
- Between 1 to 3 years’ practical experience managing marketplace catalogues, with Amazon expertise being essential.
- Proficient in Shopify administration, including creating products with variants, managing collections, and conducting bulk imports without errors.
- Comfortable working with flat files and advanced Excel spreadsheets, capable of managing large data uploads.
- Demonstrates patience and persistence in troubleshooting and escalating issues when necessary.
- Detail-oriented, understanding the importance of accurate product details, especially in fine jewelry to avoid returns.
- Previous experience in jewelry is not required, but familiarity with Shopify and marketplaces is mandatory.
