Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ecological surveys across southern England on projects ranging from small developments to large infrastructure schemes.
• Perform habitat assessments and prepare detailed ecological reports.
• Assist clients throughout planning and licensing procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a relevant degree in ecology or a related environmental field.
• Have experience of at least two ecological consultancy seasons.
• Be skilled in conducting various field surveys, especially for protected species.
• Demonstrate strong written communication and report drafting abilities.
• Hold a full UK driving licence with a willingness to travel for site visits.
• Possession of protected species licences (e.g., for bats or great crested newts) is advantageous but not mandatory.
