Job description
Position Overview
Dashmesh Medicos is seeking an experienced E-Commerce Manager based in Jalandhar, Punjab. This full-time, on-site role demands thorough knowledge in managing and processing online orders through multiple channels including Shopify, WhatsApp, Instagram, and phone calls. This position requires meticulous coordination of product listings, pricing updates, customer communications, order processing, courier management, and shipment tracking.
Key Duties
- Handle order processing received from Shopify, WhatsApp, Instagram, and customer calls.
- Create and maintain product listings on Shopify, ensuring accurate details, images, and prices.
- Regularly update product pricing, stock levels, and website information.
- Manage customer inquiries, confirm orders, and provide post-sale assistance.
- Oversee order packing, billing, and dispatch procedures.
- Arrange shipment bookings and label generation through Shiprocket platform.
- Monitor shipments, updating customers on delivery status and handling delivery issues.
- Manage Shiprocket-related non-delivery reports (NDR), returns, refusal to orders (RTO), and complaints.
- Lodge complaints for lost, delayed, or damaged parcels with courier partners.
- Organize local deliveries using services like Rapido or Porter.
- Maintain accurate records of all online orders, dispatches, returns, and complaint logs.
- Provide fundamental support for social media engagement on Instagram and other platforms.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in e-commerce order management or related online sales and dispatch coordination.
- Basic familiarity with Shopify backend operations and website maintenance.
- Competence in creating product listings and updating pricing and stock information efficiently.
- Knowledge of Shiprocket operations including shipment booking, tracking, and handling returns or delivery failures.
- Strong communication skills for effective customer interactions.
- Basic skills in WhatsApp Business, Instagram, and social media tools.
- Good computer literacy with precise data entry capabilities.
- Highly organized, responsible, self-directed, and able to manage workload independently.
