Role Overview
The E-commerce Advertising Manager is responsible for increasing online revenue through designing, implementing, and refining paid media campaigns on digital storefronts and search engines. This role requires managing advertising budgets, monitoring customer acquisition costs, and driving maximum return on ad expenditure to enhance product visibility and conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, plan, and run paid search, shopping, and display advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and key marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart.
- Efficiently allocate and supervise monthly advertising budgets to achieve the highest possible return on ad spend and meet customer acquisition cost targets.
- Analyze campaign performance daily using metrics like click-through rates, conversion rates, and cost per click.
- Create insightful reports using analytics tools and conduct tests on fresh advertising creatives.
- Perform continuous A/B testing on ad copies, landing pages, and audience targeting to enhance conversion rates and minimize bounce rates.
- Collaborate with design, inventory management, and marketing teams to ensure campaign promotions align with product availability and brand standards.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three years' experience in digital marketing or e-commerce roles with proven expertise managing paid advertising budgets.
- Practical knowledge of advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and seller central portals for marketplaces including Amazon and Flipkart.
- Strong analytical skills with comprehensive understanding of KPIs like ROAS, CAC, and LTV.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving capabilities, and a creative approach toward campaign strategies.
